Earlier this month, we celebrated National Apprenticeship Week by reflecting on the positive impact that apprenticeships have on people and organisations.
We’re proud to give young people the chance to do meaningful work while learning, earning, and developing their skillset.
Our ambition
We’re striving for apprentices to comprise 10% of our Llanw workforce in the near future, so we’re always considering how we can improve our current apprentices’ experiences.
Last year, we interviewed Kaitlyn on the job to hear what she does day-to-day, what trade she’s enjoying most, and of course, whether she prefers tea or coffee while she’s working!
Hearing Kaitlyn’s manager talk about the progress she’s made is a testament to her hard work, and to the value of apprenticeship schemes like ours!
We also enjoyed re-watching Ryan’s interview, which highlights the meaningful contribution our apprentices make to their communities, and the sense of purpose it gives them.
Ryan has since graduated from his apprenticeship scheme and remains a valued member of our team!
